Return & Refund Policy
At Party Rentals by Des, we are committed to providing high-quality event prop rentals and a smooth, stress-free rental experience. Please review the following policy carefully before placing your order.
Rental Period
All rental items are provided for the duration specified in your rental agreement. The rental period typically begins upon delivery and ends at the scheduled pickup time. Any requests to extend the rental period must be made in advance and are subject to availability and additional fees.
Item Inspection & Condition
All customers are responsible for inspecting rental items upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us immediately so we can assess the issue and resolve it promptly.
Customers are responsible for all rental items throughout the rental period. Any loss, theft, or damage must be reported immediately and may result in repair or replacement charges, depending on the extent of the issue.
Damage or Loss
Rental items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Charges may apply for:
- Broken or damaged items
- Missing items
- Excessive wear beyond normal use
Replacement or repair costs will be determined based on the condition of the returned items.
Linen & Table Cover Policy
Linen and table covers are only provided with qualifying rentals and bundles.
Please note:
- Linens and table covers are not available as standalone rentals
- Linen is not provided for events exceeding 60 guests
- Linen is offered only for orders over $250
- Any linen or table cover that is damaged or permanently stained during the rental period will incur a $15 replacement fee per item
Returns & Pick-Up
Rental items must be returned in the condition they were received.
- If pickup service was selected, our team will retrieve the items at the scheduled time.
- If self-return was selected, items must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time.
Failure to return items on time or in proper condition may result in additional charges.
Changing Delivery Time
Late returns are subject to additional fees. If you anticipate a delay, please contact us in advance to request an extension. Extensions are not guaranteed and may incur extra charges.
Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 days prior to the scheduled event to receive a full refund of any deposit.
- Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Custom orders are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, regardless of timing.
Refunds
Refunds are issued based on the condition of returned items and the terms outlined in your rental agreement.
- Items returned damaged, excessively soiled, or not returned are not eligible for a refund
- Deposits and rental fees are refunded only when all items are returned on time and in acceptable condition
Item Availability
While we make every effort to fulfill all rental requests, item availability cannot be guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you promptly and offer either a suitable replacement or a refund for the affected item(s).
